Bills vs. Browns score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for Week 11 game in Detroit

The Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills began their game like a couple of teams that were relocated in the middle of the week from Buffalo to Detroit: sluggish. The Browns scored an opening-drive touchdown on a 25-yard pass to Amari Cooper, but other than that, no offensive fireworks to speak of. The Bills countered with one touchdown of their own to their top wideout, a five-yarder to Stefon Diggs with 14 seconds in the half, giving Buffalo a 13-10 lead. The Bills didn’t pick up their first first down until eight minutes remained in the half.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen struggled early, missing on six of his first 10 passes, gaining only 27 yards through the air. None of his passes were targeted toward Diggs, something he expressed frustration about to head coach Sean McDermott on the sidelines. Buffalo appeared to reach the Cleveland one midway through the second quarter, but a holding penalty by fullback Reggie Gilliam backed them up. So, they settled for another field goal. However, Allen finally came to life on the final drive of the half with the touchdown to Diggs.

Cleveland marched down the field with ease to start, scoring an opening-drive touchdown after nine plays. However, the Browns were unable to get things going in the red zone the vast majority of the first half. Jacoby Brissett finished the half with 156 passing yards, the opening drive score, and while completing 13 of his 18 pass attempts.

The Bills will start the second half with the ball with a chance to extend their lead after coming to life late, so stay locked into our coverage of this Week 11 slugfest for all the real-time updates and analysis!
